EIS Training Programs are government-approved courses under Malaysia's Employment Insurance System (EIS), designed to help eligible retrenched workers upskill, reskill, and improve their employability through industry-relevant training.

Who is eligible to join an EIS Training Program?

Individuals who are eligible under PERKESO's Employment Insurance System (EIS) and have received approval for the Job Search Allowance (JSA) can enrol in approved training programmes. Eligibility is subject to PERKESO's latest guidelines.

What types of training programmes are available?

Tech Global offers a wide range of EIS-approved programmes, including Human Resource Management, Retail Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Strategy & Digital Transformation, Applied Artificial Intelligence, AI for Manufacturing, Advanced Manufacturing Strategy & Innovation, and Manufacturing Skills Certification.

Are the training programmes available online?

Yes. Depending on the programme, participants can choose from online or hybrid learning formats, providing flexibility while ensuring practical, industry-focused learning experiences.

Do participants receive a certificate after completing the programme?

Yes. Participants who successfully complete their training will receive a recognised certificate of completion, demonstrating the knowledge and skills gained through the programme.

How do I apply for an EIS Training Program?

Begin by submitting the required documents to PERKESO, including your retrenchment letter, payslip, and bank statement. Once your EIS application and training request are approved, you can enrol in your selected Tech Global training programme through the EIS portal.

You need to meet the base criteria below, and your job loss needs to fall under a covered reason.

You can apply if

You're a Malaysian citizen or permanent resident
You worked in the private sector
You contributed to EIS via salary deduction

Not eligible if

You resigned voluntarily
Your contract ended normally
You were dismissed for misconduct
You're self-employed or freelance, with no contribution

Job Search Allowance is paid monthly at a declining rate — designed to support you most when the loss is freshest, and to encourage early re-employment.

Provides financial assistance for 3 to 6 months

Early Re-employment Allowance

A financial incentive paid to JSA recipients who accept a job offer early, while still receiving JSA.

Reduced Income Allowance

Income replacement for people with multiple income sources who've lost one or more — but not all — of them.

Training Allowance

A daily rate of RM10–RM20 while you're in training, scaled to your assumed monthly wage.

Training Fee

Course fees for approved programs, paid directly to the training provider — up to RM4,000.

Placement & Career Counselling

Job matching through MYFutureJobs, based on your skills, experience, and job suitability — with an Employment Services Officer.
